Chitra Shenoy is a familiar face for the Malayalam cinema and television audience. She has enacted in several Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil movies along with television serials. Her debut performance was in the 2005 movie 'Rajamanikyam'. Later she appeared in supporting roles in several movies. Her mother-in-law role in the serial 'Sthreedhanam', is which made her popular among the audience.
