72nd National Film Awards: Mammootty Wins Best Actor, Feminichi Fathima Named Best Malayalam Film

Malayalam cinema emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 72nd National Film Awards. Veteran actor Mammootty was selected as Best Actor for his outstanding performance in Bramayugam. He shared the award with Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who was honoured for his performance in Chandu Champion. This marks Mammootty's fourth National Film Award for Best Actor, equalling the record held by Amitabh Bachchan for winning the prestigious honour four times. Actress Yami Gautam was named Best Actress for her performance in Article 370. Feminichi Fathima was selected as the Best Malayalam Film.
