Gopika received her first modeling lessons from Miss. Thrissur... continued with Hindustani music from padmashree Ustad Gulam Mustafa Khan and Shree Gautam Mukherjee - Karnatic music from SMT.T.R.Balamani-Western voice culture from Mrs. Celia Lobo and western notes from Mrs. Soaras.

Apart from music Niveditha learned Indian classical dance - Bharatnatiyam from Udyogamandala Vikraman,Odissi from Guru Ravindra Addibhudi and western Jazz from Mr.Darren Das. Obtained her B.A.{Philosophy} Degree from Mumbai University.

Apart from albums, she has rendered Bhojpuri songs for the cassettes produced by Bombino music and rap music. she has also rendered title songs for few tv serials. she has given stage performances all over India and abroad. For the 4th Maratha Light Infantry, she was the definition of talent. So when it came to selecting a singer for their pop album Dil Kurbaan, Jaan Kurbaan, Gopika was THE choice.
