Noted actress Kalaranjini is born to theatre artists Chavara V P Nair and Vijayalakshmi. She started her acting career in late 1970's and is still in the limelight. Her anti-heroine role in 'Ente Mohangal Poovaninju' was very well noted. Noted actresses Urvashi and Kalpana are her sisters. She is a divorcee and has a son 'Prince'.
