Veteran Malayalam actress Meena Ganesh passed away at the age of 81 on December 19 at her residence in Ottappalam, Kerala. As reported by Manorama News, the actress had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the area prior to her demise.

Meena Ganesh is fondly remembered for her impactful performances in films like Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum starring Kalabhavan Mani, Karumadikuttan, and Nandanam.

Her artistic journey began at the age of 19 as a theatre artist, and she went on to appear in over 105 films during her illustrious career. Meena was married to renowned theatre artist and film actor A.N. Ganesh.
