Karthika Mathew is originally Lidya Jacob, who has been part of the film industry. She started her career with the movie 'Snehadooth' but she was noted with her performance in the Oomapenninu Uriyadappaiyan. Later she got many prominent roles. Apart from Malayalam movies, she has enacted in several Tamil movies too. Katthika is married to Merin Mathew and the couple have a son.
