K R Vijaya is an Indian actress, who has been part of many Malayalam, Tamil and Talugu projects. Her first Malayalam movie was Manavatti. Later she appeared many films. Her role as the desperate mother in 'Ithiri Poove Chuvanna Poove' was critically acclaimed. She got Kerala State Award for Second Best Actress with this movie. K R Vijaya is married to Velayutha Nair and they have a daughter Hemalatha.
