Mohan Jose was a government official in Mumbai, he was suffering from acute acting fever all those years. He did his maiden appearance in 'Chamaram' in 1980. Very shortly he bade farewell to Mumbai and flew to Chennai to become a full-time movie actor. Rajavinte Makan, Bhoomiyile Rajakkanmar, New Delhi, Nair Saab, Aye Auto, Lelam, Crime File, Black, Nerariyan CBI, Roudram, Crazy Gopalan are a few among other Malayalam Movies in which he portrayed versatile and inimitable characters. An Honourable Member of Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes, Mohan Jose now resides in Ernakulam, Kerala with his family.
