Rajisha Vijayan is an Indian actress and former television presenter known for her work primarily in Malayalam and Tamil films. She has played a range of roles, from supporting to lead female characters, and has received notable accolades, including a Kerala State Film Award and a SIIMA Award.

Early Life and Education:

Rajisha was born in Perambra, Kozhikode, Kerala, India, to Vijayan and Sheela. She graduated with a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Amity University, Noida.

Career in Television:

Rajisha began her career as a television host, presenting youth-centric programs such as Susi's Code and a music chat show. She co-hosted Surya Challenge on Surya TV alongside Vidhu Pratap and also anchored the talent show Ugram Ujwalam, which aired on Mazhavil Manorama.

Film Career:

Rajisha made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, where her performance earned her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 2016. This role also garnered her a nomination for a Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Malayalam.

Following her debut, she appeared in the film Georgettan's Pooram alongside Dileep, although it did not perform well at the box office. Her next project was Oru Cinemakkaran, where she starred opposite Vineeth Sreenivasan. She also acted in a theater drama titled Hand of God, playing the role of a queen.

In 2019, Rajisha played the lead role in the coming-of-age film June, produced by Friday Film House. Both the film and her performance received critical and commercial acclaim.

In 2020, she starred in the Khalid Rahman-directed film Love, opposite Shine Tom Chacko.

Tamil Film Debut:

Rajisha made her Tamil debut in the film Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj and featuring a star-studded cast that includes Dhanush, Lal, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Gouri Kishan, and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli.
