Shamna Kasim or Poorna started her acting career with a small role in the movie 'Manju Poloru Penkutty'. She began to get noticed with the movie 'December'. Later, she appeared in several Malayalam movies. She was lucky enough to do the role done by actress Lakshmi in the remake of the class movie 'Chattakari'. Shamna is also active in other industries too.
