Prominent film, serial, and theater actor and director, as well as a recipient of the Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award, retired Air Force officer, and former employee of the American Consulate, V.P. Ramachandran (81) of Mahadeva Gramam West, Payyannur, has passed away. The funeral will take place tomorrow (5th September 2024) at 9 AM. He was active in the film industry from 1987 to 2016 and lent his voice to numerous films. He remained active in serials and theater until recently. He acted in several films, including *Kilippattu, Appu, Ayyar the Great, Police Officer, Kathanayika, Cheviliyar, Sadayam, Yuvathurki, The Reporter, Kandenethal,* and *Athijeevanam*. He was the brother of the world-renowned dancer, Padma Bhushan V.P. Dhananjayan.
