Noted cine artist James dies following heart ailment. He died at his elder brother's house at Kaduthuruthi.

Funeral was held on 15th June 2007, 11 am at the st. Mary's cathedral, Thiruvananthapuram. He has been active on the movie stage for over three decades. He was initially an art and production manager and was a manager for Nedumudi Venu, later on he switched to acting. He acted in over 150 films, noted among them are - New Delhi, Meeshamadhavan, Pathram, Oru maravathoor kanavu etc. Time was his last film. He is survived by his wife Jiji and children Lallu and Gilu.
