Kalamandalam Kesavan (18 May 1936 - 25 April 2009 )was an Indian kathakali percussionist, playwright and actor in Indian cinema. He did roles in Malayalam during the 1990s and 2000s.

Artist,  prolific writer with more than 40 works to his credit, and an  accomplished actor with quite a number of appearances in films and  television serials, Kesavan had been active in the cultural scene till  his last. He won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi award for his collection of  poems: Thenthulli.
