Malayalam cinema has lost Subair, a leading character actor, who has done umpteen ‘villain roles’.

Subair (48)(25 May 1962 – 18 August 2010) died of a massive heart attack around 8 pm on Wednesday (August 18) at a private hospital in Kochi.

He had gone for Onam shopping with his family including his two weeks old baby girl. While driving back home he complained of chest pain and drove straight to a nearby hospital.

Later he was shifted to a cardiac care hospital, but they could not save him. The funeral will be held today in Tellichery his hometown.
