The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the film industry organization AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). The event took place at the organization's Kochi office. Superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty, along with Manju Warrier, hoisted the national flag. Actor and Union Minister Suresh Gopi also attended the ceremony.

Manju Warrier was actively involved in AMMA's official program. Actor Srinivasan was also present at the event. Several other celebrities, including Suresh Krishna, Baburaj, Ramesh Pisharody, vinu mohan, sarayu, Ansiba Jomol, Ponnamma Babu, and Tesni Khan, and many more participated in the ceremony. During the event, the inauguration of AMMA's life-saving initiative, the Sanjeevani Project, also took place.

The previous day, AMMA had hosted a family gathering in Kochi, with a variety of activities organized for the members as part of the event.
