Director Jithu Ashraf, who gained attention with hit films like Nayattu and Iratta, is set to release his latest film, Officer on Duty, on February 20. Jithu Ashraf, who was also the co-director of Iratta, helms this film, with Kunchacko Boban and Priya Mani playing the lead roles. Following the success of Pranaya Vilasam, the movie is produced by Martin Prakkat, Sibi Chavara, and Ranjith Nair under the banners of Martin Prakkat Films and Green Room Productions.

The screenplay is penned by Shahi Kabir, the writer of Joseph and Nayattu. The film is distributed by Dream Big Films under Green Room Productions. Kunchacko Boban once again dons the role of a police officer in this film, which also features Jagadish and Vishakh Nair in significant roles. Other key actors include Manoj K.U., Ramzan Muhammed, Unni Lalu, Jaya Kurup, Vaishakh Shankar, Vishnu G. Warrier, Lea Mammen, and Aishwarya.

The cinematography is handled by Roby Varghese Raj, the director of Kannur Squad, while the music is composed by Jake's Bejoy. Production controller Shabeer Malavattath, finance controller Rahul C. Pillai, and chief associate director Jineesh Chandran, along with associate directors Zakir Hussain and Renit Raj, form the core technical team. Assistant directors include Sreejith, Yogesh G, Anwar Padiyath, Jona Sebin, and Ria Jogi. Ansari Nasar is the second unit DOP, and Binu Napoleon serves as the spot editor.
