Director Shahi Kabir takes the audience through the lives of ASI Yohannan and police driver Dhinanath in the film Ronth. It's like a ride in a police patrol jeep — revealing layers of emotion, duty, and mystery. The trailer of Ronth, starring Dileesh Pothan and Roshan Mathew in lead roles, has been released. The trailer launch took place recently in Kochi, with actor Kunchacko Boban unveiling it.

In the trailer, Yohannan appears both as a caring elder figure and a belittling senior officer. Dhinanath, who is disheartened upon learning that he has to be on duty with Yohannan, adds depth to the unfolding tension. But the trailer ends with a hint that something significant awaits them that night.

Dileesh Pothan plays Yohannan, while Roshan Mathew appears as Dhinanath. The film is set to release in theatres on June 13. Ronth is Shahi Kabir's directorial follow-up to Ela Veezha Poonchira, and also marks his return as a screenwriter after the critically acclaimed Nayattu (Officer on Duty).

The film is produced under the banner of Festival Cinemas by renowned filmmaker Rathish Ambat, Ranjith EVM, and Jojo Jose, in association with Vineet Jain for Junglee Pictures. Amrita Pandey is the co-producer.
