The first-look poster of Thalavara, presented by Mahesh Narayanan and featuring Arjun Ashokan and Revathy Sharma in the lead roles, is out now. Produced by Shebin Backer Productions and Moving Narratives, the film is set to release on August 15. The film is directed by Akhil Anilkumar, and the poster reveals Arjun Ashokan portraying a lead character with vitiligo, challenging conventional notions of what a "hero" should look like.

The film also features a large ensemble cast including Ashokan, Devadarshini Chetan, Sharath Sabha, Aathira Mariam, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Prashanth Murali, Sam Mohan, Hareesh Kumar, Sohan Seenulal, Shaju Sreedhar, Vishnu Raghu, Muhammad Rafi, Manoj Moses, Shebin Benson, Ashwath Lal, Amit Mohan, and Rajeshwari.

The story is penned by director Akhil Anilkumar himself, with the screenplay written jointly by Akhil Anilkumar and Appu Aslam.

The film is expected to explore deeper social themes and redefine the mainstream image of a film hero.
