AmmA has expressed regret over the controversial remarks made by actor Vinayakan against filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan and singer K. J. Yesudas. The organization noted its strong dissatisfaction with the defamatory comments made on social media. The discontent over Vinayakan’s remarks was raised during the first executive meeting of the newly elected committee chaired by Shwetha Menon.
AmmA has also appointed a five-member committee to investigate the memory card controversy. The panel has been directed to conduct the inquiry and submit its report within 60 days.
