Loka – Chapter One: Chandra, the seventh production under Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, will hit theatres as an Onam release. The film is being distributed by major companies outside Kerala. Scheduled for release on August 28, it will be distributed in Tamil Nadu by AGS Cinemas. In Karnataka, the release will be handled by Kannada star Raj B. Shetty’s banner Lighter Buddha. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, leading Telugu production-distribution house Sithara Entertainments will bring the film to audiences, while in North India, distribution will be managed by the Pen Marudhar team.

Targeting a massive release across the rest of India, the film will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Each market will have the best distribution partners ensuring Loka reaches audiences. Along with its nationwide release, the film will also hit premium epic screens across South India.

The film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in key roles. Made on a grand scale, Loka is written and directed by Dominic Arun. Chandra is the first film in the superhero cinematic universe titled Loka.
