At the 71st National Film Awards ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, actor Mohanlal was presented with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award by President Droupadi Murmu. The Selection Committee recognized the legendary actor for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.

With a career spanning over four decades and more than 400 films, Mohanlal received a standing ovation as he walked on stage to accept the honor. His wife, Suchitra Mohanlal, was also present and grew visibly emotional during the moment.

The actor chose a classic white kurta paired with a traditional scroll for the occasion. President Murmu, joined by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, conferred the award in a ceremony that celebrated the enduring impact of Malayalam cinema on Indian film history.
