After taking a short break from cinema due to health issues, actor Mammootty is set to make his comeback to Malayalam cinema. He will soon join the sets of Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan. Alongside him, Mohanlal and Kunchacko Boban will also be playing important roles.

Producer and close friend Anto Joseph confirmed that Mammootty will resume shooting from Wednesday, October 1. Despite the unexpected break, Anto expressed gratitude for the unwavering prayers and support from everyone that helped Mammootty recover quickly and return to work.

“Our beloved Mammukka is making a grand comeback,” Anto announced, confirming that Mammootty will join the set of Mahesh Narayanan’s film in Hyderabad on October 1. Recalling the sudden break, he thanked fans for their prayers and support that gave Mammootty the strength to overcome setbacks with resilience.

He ended his message by extending heartfelt thanks to all who stood by Mammootty during this challenging time. The actor’s comeback has thrilled fans who are eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming films. Mammootty will also be starring in Kalamkaaval, directed by Jithin K. Jose. Recently, the makers of Loka: Chapter 1 announced that the megastar will be playing the role of Moothon in the Loka franchise.
