A Short Break from Serious Roles; Suraj Venjaramoodu Returns in Full-Fledged Comedy with ‘Run Mama Run’

After a long gap, Suraj Venjaramoodu is back entertaining audiences with a complete fun-filled character. He plays a full-length comedy role in ‘Run Mama Run’, directed by debutant Prasanth Vijayakumar.

Set on Queen Island, a western-culture-influenced island, the film revolves around Edison, a young man who navigates life through small-time tricks while dealing with numerous problems. Edison’s life takes a turn when his nephew-in-law Gabri, burdened with serious issues of his own, enters his world. What follows is a series of extremely entertaining situations as uncle and nephew join hands in their attempt to solve their problems.

Once celebrated as a crowd favorite through comedy roles, Suraj Venjaramoodu had recently shifted focus toward serious and intense characters. With Run Mama Run, he takes a temporary break from such roles and returns to a full-length comedy performance.

The character of Gabri is played by popular young actor Balu Varghese. The on-screen combination of Suraj Venjaramoodu and Balu Varghese promises a laughter-filled cinematic experience.

The film also features Baburaj, Indrans, Shammi Thilakan, Kottayam Naseer, Unniraj, Sudheer Paravoor, Sajan Palluruthy, Bollywood actor Pankaj Jha, and Janardhanan in a key role.
