The release date of Valathu Vashathe Kallan, the latest film directed by Jeethu Joseph, has been announced. A motion video revealing the date—featuring Biju Menon and Joju George in a dimly lit setting—has been released along with the announcement. The film will hit theatres on January 30, 2026.

Produced by Shaji Natesan under the banners August Cinema, Cineholics, and Bedtime Stories, the film has its screenplay written by Dinu Thomas Eelan. Early indications suggest that the movie will unfold against a highly mysterious backdrop. Goodwill Entertainments is handling the distribution.

The shooting was recently completed at various locations in Kochi, as well as in Vandiperiyar and Peermade. Directed by Jeethu Joseph—known for acclaimed Malayalam films such as My Boss, Mummy & Me, Memories, Drishyam, Drishyam 2, Kooman, and Neru—Valathu Vashathe Kallan is hinted to be a crime investigation thriller. The title look was earlier released with the tagline “The confession of a wounded soul.”
