The Thikkurissi Foundation Film Awards for this year, instituted in memory of Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair, have been announced. Special honours will be presented to Balachandra Menon, Gokulam Gopalan, M. G. Sreekumar, and Sohan Roy.

The awards were decided by a jury chaired by Baby Mathew Somatheeram, with members Balu Kiriyath, T. P. Sasthamangalam, and Rajan V. Pozhiyoor.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held on April 4 in Punalur.
