Every person’s life has its share of complicated knots. In this story, a young man named Premadasan, a true village native, finds himself caught in a beautiful yet complicated knot called “Mohanavalli.” Later, his family members and fellow villagers also become entangled in the situation. Mohanavalli is a humorous cinematic portrayal of the amusing moments that unfold as they try to untangle this knot.

Presented as a horror-fantasy comedy, the film is directed by debutant Umesh S. Nair. Umesh enters the director’s chair after working alongside filmmakers Sanjeev Sivan, Leo Thadevoos, Vaishakh, and Prashanth Mampully.

Produced under the banners of J Studios and A2A Movie Studios, the film commenced production on July 12 with a pooja ceremony held at the Anjumana Temple in Edappally, Kochi.

Director Sanjeev Sivan performed the switch-on ceremony, while Sreekanth Murali gave the first clap. Aziz Nedumangad appeared for the first shot during the subsequent filming. Director Leo Thadevoos unveiled the film’s title.
