The title of Mohanlal’s upcoming film L367, produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies, has been announced. Written and directed by Vishnu Mohan, the film has been titled ‘Operation Ganga’. Baiju Gopalan and V.C. Praveen are the co-producers, while Krishnamoorthy is the executive producer. The title announcement of this mega-budget film, which is being mounted on a grand scale, had been eagerly awaited by fans and movie lovers. ‘Operation Ganga’ was the historic evacuation mission carried out by India against the backdrop of the Russia–Ukraine war. The film, which is set against this backdrop, has already begun shooting in Georgia. Mohanlal will join the shoot soon.
The film is planned to be shot over 180 days across Poland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Delhi, Dehradun and Kochi. Along with Mohanlal, prominent actors including Bollywood star Arjun Rampal, Adil Hussain, Bhagyashree Borse and Parthiban will also be seen in the film. Featuring actors and technicians from Bollywood as well as international talent, the movie is being made as one of the biggest productions from Sree Gokulam Movies. Another highlight is that acclaimed composer Shashwat Sachdev, following the massive success of the pan-Indian film ‘Dhurandhar’, is composing the music for ‘Operation Ganga’. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, the cinematographer of ‘Pushpa 1’ and ‘Pushpa 2’, is handling the camera work. Si Young Oh, the action director of ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Kill’, is also part of the film. The film also brings together several prominent technicians, including Rajeevan, the production designer of ‘GOAT’, ‘Meiyazhagan’, ‘Amaran’ and ‘Kathanar’; editor Shameer Muhammed; sound designer Bishwadeep Chatterjee, who has worked on films such as ‘Dhurandhar’, ‘Uri’, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Padmaavat’; K.V. Sanjith, VFX supervisor of ‘Kantara’; Squadron Leader Verlin Panwar, who has worked as a military adviser on films including ‘Safed Sagar’, ‘Border 2’ and ‘Fighter’; Melvy J, costume director of ‘Loka’; makeup artist Ronex Xavier; and production controller Rinny Divakar.
Other major films currently being produced under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies include ‘Ottakomban’, starring Suresh Gopi; ‘Kathanar’, starring Jayasurya; and ‘Killer’, directed by S.J. Suryah. The technical crew includes cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, music composer Shashwat Sachdev, action director Si Young Oh, production designer Rajeevan, editor Shameer Muhammed, sound designer Bishwadeep Chatterjee, VFX supervisor K.V.
