Unni Mukundan is all set to make his directorial debut with a high-voltage action film, in which he will also play the lead. The project is a collaboration between Panorama Studios and Unni Mukundan Films.

Panorama Studios, the production house led by National Award-winning producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, is joining hands with actor Unni Mukundan’s Unni Mukundan Films for this upcoming Malayalam film. Set against a high-voltage action backdrop, the film will mark Unni Mukundan’s debut as a writer and director.

The film also marks Unni Mukundan’s next project aimed at the pan-Indian audience following the success of Marco.

One of the leading production companies in Indian cinema, Panorama Studios has delivered several blockbuster films, including Omkara, Special 26, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Raid, Shaitaan, and the Drishyam franchise. The studio has won more than 50 awards, while Abhishek Pathak’s directorial Drishyam 2 was a major success. His upcoming film Drishyam: The Conclusion, which he is directing and producing, is scheduled for release on October 2.

Following the pan-Indian success of Marco, Unni Mukundan has emerged as one of the prominent pan-Indian stars from Malayalam cinema. He also established a strong presence in film production through Unni Mukundan Films, which produced the National Award-winning film Meppadiyan. The collaboration between Unni Mukundan Films and Panorama Studios has generated considerable expectations in the Indian film industry.

The film also has the distinction of being the 50th movie in Unni Mukundan’s career.
