The rehearsal camp for the "Mazhavill Entertainment Awards - 2023," organized jointly by Mazhavil Manorama and AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) for the second consecutive year, began on July 28, 2023, at 10:15 AM at the Marriott Hotel, Ernakulam. Mammootty inaugurated the event with a lighting of the lamp.

Over 120 members of AMMA are participating in this show. Treasurer Siddique delivered the welcome speech, and General Secretary Idavela Babu, along with Jagadeesh, spoke at the event. Notable attendees included Lal, Babu Raj, Manju Pillai, Rachana Narayanan Kutty, Tini Tom, MM TV Program Head Jude Attipetty, and Program Deputy Head Satish.

The show will be broadcast on Mazhavil Manorama on the weekend evenings of August, in conjunction with the Onam festival. The show is being directed by Idavela Babu.
