Siddique has been elected as the General Secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). In the election held on Sunday, he defeated Kuku Parameswaran and Unni Shivapalan. Idavela Babu, who had served as the longest-serving General Secretary, had previously stepped down.

Jagdish was chosen as Vice President, Jayan Chetlalai as another Vice President, and Babu Raj as Joint Secretary. The Association's Executive Committee now includes Kalabhavan Shajon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Joy Mathew, Suresh Krishna, Tini Tom, Ananya, Vinu Mohan, Tovino Thomas, Ansib Hassan, and Sarayu.

Actor Mohanlal and Unni Mukundan were elected unopposed as President and Treasurer of the organization, respectively.
