Mohanlal visits landslide hit Wayanad in Army uniform, donates Rs 3 crore for rehabilitation

Mohanlal visited Wayanad in Kerala to extend his support to the victims of the recent natural disaster. Wearing his army uniform, he toured the affected areas and held discussions with local officials. Mohanlal was appointed as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army, a military reserve force comprising part-time volunteers, in 2009.

Expressing his deep concern, Mohanlal offered financial assistance for the rehabilitation of those who lost their homes and families. As reported by Manorama, he stated, “The scale of destruction is truly understood only by visiting the site. I am immensely grateful to the Army and other volunteers for their relentless relief efforts. We will also contribute ?3 crore from the Viswasanthi Foundation for rehabilitation work in the area.”
