Lakshmi was one of the prominent actress of mid 1970's and 80's. She started her career with the superhit movie 'Chattakari'. The role of 'Julie' in that movie bought her lot of fames and she did the same role in the hindi movie 'Julie' too. Apart from Malayalam and Tamil, Lakshmi acted in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu movies. Famous actress 'Aiswarya' is her daughter.
