Actress Lakshmi Gopalaswamy is basically a dancer, who started her career with advertisements. She later appeared along with Mammootty in the movie 'Arayannangalude Veedu', which was a real turning point in her career. She later performed in the movies like Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal, Achaneyanenikkishtam etc. Her role in the movie Arayannangalude Veedu and Thaniye bought Kerala State Award for Second Best Actress for her.
