Ramu is a Malayalam movie actor, mostly known for his villian roles. He came to the industry in 1970s. His roles in Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha, Ravana  prabhu, Perumazhakalam etc were notable. He is married to Reshmi and they have a son and a daughter. His son Devdas has enacted in few Malayalam movies.
