Sandra Sekhar, her original name was Naveena Palatt is introduced to the Malayalam movie industry in 2002 by T.S.Saji  in the movie " India gate" as the daughter of Devan and Ponnamma Babu. She was studying in 7th standard at that time.

She is a well known TV anchor also.She had directed two albums with M.G.sreekumar and Biju Narayanan. Had shown her capabilities in music industry is also an added advantage.

She is living in Ernakulam with Her father ( Rtd.Head master), mother ( Home maker) and elder brother, who is also in film industry. She is still not married.
