Vijay Babu is an actor and producer of the Malayalam movie industry. As an actor, he appeared as a child artist in the 1983 movie 'Sooryan'. Then he was seen as a cameo appearence in 'Three Kings'. His roles in 22 FK, Philips and the Monkey Pen etc were well noted. His debut lead role was in Escape From Uganda. But as a performer he was praised for the movie 'Nee-Na'. He is married to Smitha and they have a son.
