Vijay Menon was introduced to the Malayalam movie industry by director Bharathan in his movie 'Nidra'. he paired with Shanthi Krishna. Later he appeared in character roles, villian roles and lead roles too. Some of his noted performance are in Mukham, Meenathil Thalikettu, Nadiya Kollapetta Rathri etc. Vijay menon is married to Kala and he have a daughter and a son.
